De China International Agrochemicals and Plant Protection Exhibition, kortweg CAC Exhibition, werd opgericht in 1999 en georganiseerd door de afdeling Chemische Industrie van de China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Na vele jaren van ontwikkeling is het uitgegroeid tot 's werelds grootste agrochemische beurs en behaalde het in 2012 de UFI-certificering. De beurs omvat ook subthema-tentoonstellingen en branchespecifieke conferenties, zoals de Agricultural Chemical Equipment and Plant Protection Equipment Exhibition (CACE), de New Fertilizer Exhibition (FSHOW), de Seed Trade Show (SeedTradeShow) en de Agricultural Chemical Conference Week (CACW). Deze evenementen bieden informatie over nieuw industriebeleid, nieuwe productmarktinformatie en geavanceerde producttechnologieën, en vormen een compleet serviceplatform voor exposanten en bezoekers.
